• Well-versed in various accounting laws (Including IFRS) and regulations.
• Sound exposure to internal audits & controls
• General accounting, overall book keeping management, consolidation of accounts & closures
• Sound knowledge of performance reporting, exposure to the budgeting process for multiple businesses, expense monitoring and control.
• Knowledge of Commercial laws
• Understanding of Financial Risk Management framework
• Knowledge of Financial Analysis & Control Frameworks and techniques
• Budgetary Control & Cost Optimization techniques (including Funds & Cash Flow Management)
• Excellent leadership skills to drive business decisions
• Strategic thinking, negotiations skills and analytical skills

Overall Purpose/Objective Of the job

Responsible for providing strategic direction and financial guidance to the organization by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing financial and accounting policies, procedures and controls, in-line with established international practices and standards; Ensuring availability of funds to smoothly execute business plan; Implementation of sound financial management paradigms to maximize returns on investments cash-flow, optimizing capital structure and minimizing risk exposure for the various projects/ SPVS and takeovers/ mergers.
