Qualification & Experience

• Commerce Graduate or equivalent qualification
• 15+ years of experience in the Construction Industry

Key Responsibilities
Accounting Operations

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the Accounts Department with 6 staff.
• Ensure accurate and timely accounting entries and maintenance of the General Ledger
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements including:
• Balance Sheet
• Profit & Loss Account
• Cash Flow Statements

Tax Compliance & Audits

• Handle complete Indirect Taxation:
• GST return filings
• GST input credit reconciliation
• GST audits and refunds
• E-Invoicing implementation
• Maintain compliance with Pre-GST taxation (VAT & Service Tax)
• Manage Direct Tax compliances:
• Corporate Income Tax
• TDS
• Advance Tax
• Liaise with tax authorities for notices, audits, and routine compliance (Pan India)
• Prepare inventory reports for banks and assist with:
• Stock Audits
• Receivable Audits

Compliance & Audit Support

• Ensure adherence to financial regulations and statutory requirements
• Support internal and statutory audits with documentation and explanations
• Assist senior management in:
• Budgeting
• Financial forecasting
• Financial analysis

Project Cost Management

• Monitor and track project costs against approved budgets
• Identify potential cost overruns and highlight variances
• Coordinate with project managers to control expenditures
• Prepare financial reports for ongoing projects, including:
• Budget vs. actual analysis
• Project cash flow forecasts

Billing & Cash Flow Management

• Prepare and track progress billing and monthly invoicing for projects
• Monitor material movement and reconciliation
• Ensure timely billing in coordination with project managers and clients
• Support effective cash flow management
