Chess Teacher Sarjapur

Openhouse is looking for enthusiastic teachers to conduct 1:1 Chess classes for children at their homes in and around Sarjapur, Bangalore.

Required: Minimum Lichess Rating 1500 or Chess.com Rating 1100

Key Responsibilities:

1. Deliver high-quality classes: Prepare for and conduct Chess classes using the Openhouse curriculum, guiding students through rules, tactics, puzzles, and practice games.
2. Track student development: Monitor student progress, maintain documentation, and provide meaningful feedback to parents and the management team through regular updates and progress reports.
3. Support the learning community: Interact with parents during feedback sessions.
4. Prepare students for in-house tournaments, showcases and events, and participate in training and team meetings.

Time commitment:

1. Any 5 days a week, approximately 20 hours per week.
2. Weekdays: 3:00 PM - 7:00 PM.
3. Weekends: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM.

Note:

1. Location- Currently hiring for Sarjapur and nearby areas.
2. Classes will be conducted at students' homes.
3. Candidates should be comfortable travelling locally.
