Chemistry Teacher (CBSE Middle School & Senior Sec)

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver effective Chemistry lessons for Middle and Senior School students.
• Teach concepts according to the CBSE curriculum and grade-level requirements.
• Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, and assessments.
• Conduct and supervise practical/laboratory activities safely.
• Monitor students academic progress and provide appropriate support.
• Prepare students for CBSE examinations and board-level assessments.
• Maintain classroom discipline and create a positive learning environment.
• Use innovative teaching methods, experiments, and digital resources.
• Maintain student records and provide regular feedback to parents and school management.
• Participate in school events, academic activities, and professional development programs.

Qualifications & Skills

• M.Sc./B.Sc. in Chemistry or a relevant subject.
• B.Ed. is preferred/required as per school requirements.
• 2+ years of teaching experience in CBSE schools preferred.
• Experience teaching Middle School or Senior Secondary Chemistry.
• Strong knowledge of the CBSE Chemistry syllabus.
• Good practical/laboratory skills and knowledge of lab safety.
• Excellent English communication and classroom management skills.
• Ability to use digital teaching tools and smart classroom resources.
• Passionate, patient, organized, and student-focused.
