Chemist

• The job incumbent is responsible to. Analyse food samples for wet chemistry parameters as per Customer/Regulatory requirement.
• The position performs in line with the Bureau Veritas Lab testing activities including the BV Code of Ethics and the BV Group policy.

• Report to the section In-Charge
• Analysis of samples in wet chemistry section
• Responsible for maintenance, calibration and intermediate checks of instruments/glasswares.
• To follow indenting, receipt, inspection and storage of CRM and consumables.
• Preparation of Standard operating procedure.
• Other tasks as required.

• Must comply the BV Cardinal Safety Rules in all situations.
• To comply company HSE requirements e.g. policies, Procedures, guidelines etc. and local legal requirements on HSE as applicable
• To take care of own health and safety as well as colleagues and others.
• Immediate reporting of any shortcomings on HSE i.e. any incident, unsafe work practices / conditions to his/her immediate Line Managers.

• Reporting results as per TAT
• Technical competency and performance in the Audit.
• Achievement of Z score in PT ILC .

• Graduate or Post Graduate with Chemistry Background in food testing industry
• Min 3-4 yearsexperience in relevant field

• Excellent communication Skill
• Handling and preparation of Audit documents
