Chemist/ Sr.Chemist- Microbiology @ Kazipalli

Role & responsibilities

1. Perform microbiological testing of purified water, process water, and other applicable water samples as per approved procedures.
2. Conduct environmental monitoring of classified areas, where applicable, including air sampling, surface monitoring, and personnel monitoring.
3. Perform microbial limit tests and other applicable microbiological tests for raw materials, intermediates, and finished API products, as per approved specifications.
4. Carry out microbial enumeration and specified microbiological testing using approved methods.
5. Support bacterial endotoxin testing, microbial identification, and other specialized tests wherever applicable and trained.
6. Prepare and maintain microbiological media, reagents, and laboratory consumables.
7. Perform media preparation, sterilization, growth promotion testing, and culture handling as per approved SOPs.
8. Maintain laboratory instruments, equipment, calibration records, and microbiological testing documentation.
9. Record and review analytical results, laboratory worksheets, logbooks, and test reports accurately.
10. Report out-of-specification (OOS), out-of-trend (OOT), and abnormal microbiological results to the supervisor and support investigations.
11. Follow cGMP, data integrity, biosafety, laboratory hygiene, and waste-disposal requirements.
12. Support internal audits, customer audits, regulatory inspections, and laboratory qualification activities.
