Checker / Senior Checker

Job Summary: CHECKER /ASSOCIATE CHECKER/ SENIOR CHECKER

AISC - MAIN & MISC. STEEL - IMMEDIATE JOINER - IN OFFICE HYD

We are looking for an experienced Senior Checker with strong expertise in AISC-based structural steel detailing, covering both main steel and miscellaneous steel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Check 3D models, shop drawings, and erection drawings.
• Verify detailing accuracy, dimensions, connections, BOMs, and constructability.
• Ensure compliance with applicable AISC standards, project specifications, and approved design drawings.
• Identify modeling errors, drawing discrepancies, clashes, and missing information.
• Coordinate with detailers, modelers, engineers, and project teams to resolve issues.
• Review corrections and ensure quality before drawings are issued.
• Take ownership of end-to-end project checking and deliverables.
• Guide junior team members and maintain high-quality checking standards.

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of AISC steel detailing.
• Expertise in main steel and miscellaneous steel.
• Proven experience in model checking, shop drawing checking, and erection drawing checking.
• Ability to independently review projects from start to finish.
• Strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
