Chassis Design Engineer

Role & responsibilities

Design and development of steering system components for vehicle applications.

Create 3D models, assemblies, drawings, and manufacturing documentation using Creo (Pro-E).

Perform shaft design, tolerance stack-up analysis, and packaging studies.

Develop vehicle layouts and assembly structures in 3D environments.

Work on sheet metal and forged component design and development.

Conduct DFMEA activities and support DFM/DFA reviews.

Manage engineering data through Teamcenter PLM system.

Coordinate with cross-functional teams for design validation and release activities.

Ensure compliance with quality, cost, manufacturability, and performance requirements.
