Chartered Accountant

Job Summary:

We are looking for a qualified Chartered Accountant to manage financial accounting, taxation, statutory compliance, auditing and financial reporting for our organisation. The ideal candidate should have strong accounting knowledge, analytical skills and an understanding of export-related financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Accounting & Financial Management

• Manage day-to-day accounting and financial operations.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
• Handle general ledger, bank reconciliations and month-end closing activities.
• Monitor cash flow, working capital and fund utilisation.
• Prepare MIS reports and financial statements for management review.
• Ensure accuracy of accounting records and financial transactions.

2. Taxation & Statutory Compliance

• Handle GST, TDS and Income Tax compliance and return filings.
• Ensure timely payment of statutory dues and taxes.
• Assist in tax assessments, notices and departmental queries.
• Ensure compliance with applicable provisions of the Companies Act.
• Maintain proper tax records and supporting documentation.

3. Audit & Internal Controls

• Coordinate statutory audits, internal audits and tax audits.
• Liaise with external auditors, consultants and financial institutions.
• Assist in preparing audit schedules and supporting documents.
• Monitor internal financial controls and accounting procedures.
• Identify discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.

4. Export & International Accounting

• Handle export-related accounting and financial documentation.
• Monitor foreign currency transactions and exchange rate differences.
• Assist with compliance relating to FEMA and applicable RBI regulations.
• Coordinate with banks regarding export proceeds, remittances and international payments.
• Maintain records of export invoices and related financial transactions.
• Reconcile intercompany transactions, wherever applicable.

5. Budgeting & Financial Reporting

• Assist in preparing annual budgets and financial forecasts.
• Analyse budget versus actual expenditure.
• Prepare periodic financial reports and financial performance summaries.
• Support management in cost control and profitability analysis.
• Track expenses and identify opportunities for improved financial efficiency.

Qualification & Experience

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA).
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience.
• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, accounting standards and statutory compliance.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software such as Tally or ERP systems.
