Chartered Accountant

We are looking for a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with strong expertise in direct and indirect taxation, tax compliance, tax planning, and statutory reporting. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable tax laws, managing tax assessments and audits, optimizing tax liabilities, and coordinating with internal teams and external consultants.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Manage direct and indirect taxation, including Income Tax, GST, TDS, and TCS compliance, ensuring timely and accurate filing of returns.
• Handle tax assessments, audits, notices, and proceedings, coordinating with tax authorities and external consultants.
• Prepare tax computations, reconciliations, advance tax calculations, and provisions for taxation.
• Ensure compliance with applicable tax laws, rules, regulations, and statutory deadlines.
• Support tax planning initiatives to optimize tax liabilities and minimize tax risks.
• Review financial transactions, invoices, and accounting records to ensure tax accuracy and compliance.
• Manage GST reconciliations, input tax credit (ITC) reviews, and TDS reconciliations.
• Coordinate with Finance, Accounts, and other internal stakeholders for tax-related matters.
• Maintain accurate tax records, documentation, and reports for internal and statutory requirements.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India(ICAI).
• 4+ years of relevant experience in taxation, preferably in a corporate or manufacturing organization.
• Strong knowledge of Income Tax, GST, TDS/TCS, and applicable tax regulations.
• Experience in tax audits, assessments, notices, and reconciliations.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting/ERP software.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills.
