Chartered Accountant – Junior

We are looking for a Junior Chartered Accountant – Finance & Compliance to support the finance, accounting, taxation, and compliance functions across the Group.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities.
• Prepare and maintain financial records, ledgers, invoices, and supporting documentation.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
• Support VAT and Corporate Tax (CT) compliance and filing requirements.
• Assist in preparing financial statements and management reports.
• Perform bank, customer, supplier, and general ledger reconciliations.
• Monitor accounts receivable and accounts payable.
• Assist with budgeting, cash-flow monitoring, and financial analysis.
• Coordinate with auditors and provide required financial documents and schedules.
• Ensure accounting records are maintained accurately and in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
• Support internal finance and compliance processes across SMS Realty and SMS Consulting.
• Assist in reviewing financial transactions and identifying discrepancies.
• Maintain proper documentation and ensure timely completion of finance-related tasks.
• Provide financial and accounting support to management whenever required.

Requirements

• Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.
• 0–1 year of relevant experience in accounting, finance, audit, taxation, or compliance.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Basic knowledge of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax is an advantage.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Ability to work independently as well as within a team.
• Dubai/UAE experience is not mandatory.
