Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation and review of financial statements in accordance with applicable Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS).
• Apply accounting principles and reporting requirements under Ind AS 109 (Financial Instruments), Ind AS 115 (Revenue from Contracts with Customers), and Ind AS 116 (Leases).
• Prepare and analyse cash flow statements to support financial reporting and business requirements.
• Compute and evaluate Deferred Tax Assets (DTA) and Deferred Tax Liabilities (DTL).
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities, including general ledger scrutiny, account reconciliations, and preparation of supporting schedules.
• Assist with statutory audits, internal audits, and limited reviews by coordinating with auditors and providing relevant financial information.
• Ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency of financial records and accounting entries.
• Support the preparation of financial reports, schedules, and reconciliations in accordance with applicable accounting standards and internal processes.
• Work with Excel and accounting/ERP systems to support reporting, analysis, and routine accounting activities.
• Identify discrepancies, investigate variances, and support process improvements within finance and accounting operations.

Required Skills & Knowledge:

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting concepts.
• Working knowledge of Ind AS 109, Ind AS 115, and Ind AS 116.
• Understanding of financial statement preparation, cash flow statements, and deferred tax computations.
• Basic knowledge of statutory audits, internal audits, and limited review procedures.
• Familiarity with general ledger accounting, account reconciliations, and month-end closing activities.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and willingness to work with accounting or ERP tools.
• Exposure to Oracle Fusion or similar ERP systems will be an added advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and numerical skills.
• Excellent attention to detail, communication skills, and a willingness to learn.

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA), preferably recently qualified.
