LedgersCFO provides bookkeeping, accounting, tax and fractional CFO services to US-India cross-border startups. We work with founders building Delaware C-corps with Indian teams, helping them stay compliant on both sides of the border. As we grow our Jaipur team, we're looking for a Chartered Accountant who can own client relationships and lead quality on deliverables.

What You'll Do

• Own a portfolio of US and Indian startup clients end to end, from monthly close to year-end compliance
• Review bookkeeping, reconciliations, MIS and financial statements prepared by the team
• Handle US compliance: federal and state tax returns, Form 5472/5471, 1099s, Delaware franchise tax and state registrations
• Advise on Indian tax and regulatory matters: GST, TDS, income tax, ROC and FEMA/ODI filings
• Prepare and review transfer pricing documentation for US-India group structures
• Coordinate statutory and tax audits, and support founders during fundraise due diligence
• Act as a point of contact for founders on finance and compliance questions
• Guide and mentor CA Inter and junior team members

What We're Looking For

• Qualified Chartered Accountant with 1 to 5 years of post-qualification experience in a CA practice
• Strong command of Indian direct and indirect tax, Companies Act and audit
• Exposure to FEMA, transfer pricing, US GAAP or US taxation is a strong plus
• Hands-on with accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, Zoho Books or Tally) and advanced Excel
• Confident written and spoken English for working with US-based founders
• Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines with a high standard of accuracy
• Experience reviewing work and leading small teams is preferred
