Center Head

Position Overview

We are looking for a proactive and capable Centre Head to oversee the day-to-day operations of our preschool in Garden Reach, Kolkata. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership and people-management skills, a child-centric approach, and the ability to drive admissions while maintaining high standards of academic delivery, safety, and parent engagement.

Role Details

Job Title : Centre Head

Location: Garden Reach, Kolkata, West Bengal

Experience : 3-7 years; experience in preschool management or early childhood education is preferred

Salary: 18,000- 22,000 per month

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day functioning of the preschool and ensure adherence to organizational policies, processes, and standards.
• Drive admissions and revenue targets through effective inquiry management, parent counselling, follow-ups, and lead conversion.
• Plan and execute local marketing activities, including events, roadshows, and in-centre initiatives, to strengthen visibility and increase admissions.
• Support the implementation of the academic curriculum and work closely with teachers to maintain teaching quality and effective lesson planning.
• Maintain high standards of health, safety, cleanliness, and hygiene across the centre.
• Build positive relationships with parents, address their concerns promptly, and encourage parent and community engagement.
• Monitor staff performance, support team development and retention, and identify training needs where required.
• Work towards defined Key Result Areas (KRAs) and implement operational or academic strategies introduced by the organization.
• Review centre performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and take appropriate action to enhance operational efficiency and service quality.

Candidate Requirements

• Graduate or postgraduate qualification; a background in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred.
• At least 3 years of experience in preschool operations, centre management, or a relevant leadership role.
• Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, and people-management skills.
• A genuine interest in early childhood education and a child-centric approach.
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities, motivate a team, and collaborate effectively with parents and colleagues.
