Job Summary
NeetDeep Group is looking for a technically skilled and detail-oriented CCTV Technician to handle the installation, configuration, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of CCTV surveillance systems at various project sites. The ideal candidate should have practical knowledge of IP and Analog CCTV systems, DVR/NVR configuration, cabling, and basic networking.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, test, and commission IP and Analog CCTV cameras.
- Install and configure DVRs, NVRs, surveillance monitors, and associated equipment.
- Perform cable laying, cable termination, connector installation, and testing.
- Configure camera IP addresses, network connectivity, recording settings, and remote viewing.
- Troubleshoot camera failures, video quality issues, recording problems, and network connectivity faults.
- Install and configure PoE switches and other networking components related to CCTV systems.
- Conduct preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs of surveillance systems.
- Follow technical drawings, installation guidelines, and project specifications.
- Coordinate with project engineers, supervisors, contractors, and clients to ensure smooth site execution.
- Maintain site progress reports, installation records, and material utilization details.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, site safety requirements, and project timelines.
Required Technical Skills
- IP and Analog CCTV systems
- DVRs, NVRs, and camera configuration
- IP addressing, LAN, PoE switches, and networking
- Structured cabling, cable termination, and testing tools
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues independently
- Remote monitoring applications and surveillance system maintenance
Eligibility Criteria
- ITI / Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, or a related technical field preferred.
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in CCTV installation, maintenance, or ELV projects.
- Freshers with relevant technical training and practical knowledge may also be considered.
- Good communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
Work Location and Environment
The position involves fieldwork at commercial buildings, offices, educational institutions, and other client project locations. Candidates should be comfortable with site-based installation activities and working collaboratively with the technical team.
