CBS Support Lead

Role & responsibilities

CBS & Production Support

• Lead Finacle L2 Support for core banking operations.
• Manage EOD/BOD processes, including:
• Month End
• Quarter End
• Year End activities
• Ensure stability of CBS batches, interfaces, and backend jobs.
• Possess working knowledge of CBS customizations.

Payments Support

• Manage and support payment systems:
• IMPS
• RTGS
• NEFT
• UPI
• IFT
• Cards Management Systems

Incident & Problem Management

• Own and resolve highpriority production incidents.
• Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and ensure:
• Permanent resolution of issues
• Closure of RCA action items
• Manage escalations during weekends and holidays based on application criticality.

Team & Customer Services Management

• Lead and manage the Customer Services / Application Support Team.
• Act as the primary escalation point for business and operations teams.
• Mentor team members and ensure service quality.

DR, Audit & Compliance

• Plan and execute Disaster Recovery (DR) drills.
• Support BCP readiness and regulatory audits.
• Ensure compliance with internal and RBI guidelines.

Vendor & Stakeholder Management

• Coordinate with CBS vendors and thirdparty service providers.
• Track SLAs, issues, and corrective actions with vendors.
• Participate in discussions related to system improvements and upgrades.

Automation & Continuous Improvement

• Identify opportunities for process and operational automation.
• Prepare proposals for automation and monitoring improvements.
• Drive initiatives to reduce manual efforts and recurring issues.
