Role & responsibilities

• Assist in day-to-day warehouse and store operations.
• Receive raw materials, packaging materials, and other items from suppliers.
• Check quantity, item details, expiry dates, and physical condition of materials received.
• Assist in preparing and maintaining inward and outward stock records.
• Issue materials to production/outlets as per approved requirements.
• Arrange and store materials systematically for easy identification and retrieval.
• Follow FIFO/FEFO practices to avoid expiry and material wastage.
• Maintain accurate stock records and support regular physical stock verification.
• Assist in stock counting and reconciliation.
• Monitor stock levels and report shortages, damages, or expired materials to the supervisor.
• Maintain proper documentation for material receipt, issue, transfer, and returns.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of food ingredients and packaging materials.
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards in the warehouse.
• Support monthly/periodic inventory audits.
• Coordinate with Purchase, Production, and Operations teams for smooth material movement.
• Perform other warehouse/store-related activities as assigned by the reporting manager.

Preferred candidate profile

• Qualification: 12th / Diploma / Any Degree.
• Experience: 0 to 2 years in Store, Warehouse, Inventory, or related operations.
• Freshers with a willingness to learn are welcome to apply.
• Basic knowledge of inventory and stock management.
• Basic knowledge of MS Excel will be an advantage.
• Knowledge of FIFO/FEFO and warehouse operations is preferred.
• Good numerical and documentation skills.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Should be organized, responsible, and attentive to detail.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and handle stock carefully.
• Willingness to work in a warehouse environment.
• Candidates with experience in Bakery, Food, FMCG, Retail, or Manufacturing will be preferred.
