Role Summary:
Responsible for creating, modifying, and standardizing 3D part models, assemblies, and drawings in CATIA V5 for automotive and related domains. Ensures compliance with CAD standards, supports engineering changes, and collaborates with cross-functional teams.

What Youll Do:
- Create and modify 3D part models in CATIA V5 according to customer standards and engineering requirements
- Develop and manage complex product assemblies with appropriate constraints and structure
- Generate detailed manufacturing drawings, GD&T annotations, BOMs, and documentation in CATIA V5
- Ensure compliance with customer CAD methodologies, standards, and best practices
- Perform design validation checks and resolve modeling, assembly, and drafting issues
- Support engineering change management and update design documentation
- Collaborate with design, manufacturing, quality, and PLM teams
- Define and implement reusable CATIA seed-part templates
- Develop and validate structural CAD standards and archetypes
- Establish and maintain coordinate systems, reference planes, geometrical sets, bodies, published elements, and external references
- Ensure standards compliance and create guidelines/documentation for template usage and CAD governance
- Support migration and standardization initiatives related to CATIA data and methodologies

What We re Looking For (Must-Haves):
- Experience with CATIA V5 Part Design, Assembly Design, and Drafting
- Solid modeling, assembly, and drafting skills
- Knowledge of GD&T and engineering drawing standards
- Experience in developing CATIA seed parts and templates
- Understanding of CAD standardization, governance, and external reference management
- Knowledge of product structure management, geometrical set, and hybrid design concepts

Good to Have (Optional - only if mentioned):
- Experience in automotive, industrial equipment, aerospace, or heavy engineering domains
- Experience with PLM systems such as ENOVIA/3DEXPERIENCE
- Experience in CAD migration/standardization projects
- Knowledge of CATIA macros, VB scripting, EKL, or automation tools
- Exposure to CAD data quality and governance processes
- Experience creating enterprise-wide CAD templates and design standards

Qualifications:
- Bachelor s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive, Production, or similar
- CATIA V5 certification preferred
