- Develop Toolpaths: Create precise machining sequences and toolpaths for 3, 4, and 5-axis CNC machining centres using CATIA V5.
- Run Virtual Simulations: Validate all code via simulation software like VERICUT to eliminate collisions and errors before programs reach physical machines
- Establish Machining Strategies: Define raw material dimensions, calculate speeds, feeds, and optimal cutting depths for demanding metals like Titanium, Inconel, and Aluminum alloys.
- Design Fixtures: Design customized clamping systems, work holding fixtures, and specialized raw tooling layouts within CATIA to secure parts safely during cutting.
- Generate Machine G-Code: Edit, interpret, and post-process machine data into clean G-code and M-code customized for machine controls like Fanuc, Siemens, and Heidenhain.
- Support Shop Floor Prove-Outs: Work directly alongside CNC machinists to troubleshoot initial tool runs, evaluate First Article Inspections (FAI), and fix live errors.
- Optimize Production Output: Refine historical legacy programs to minimize total machine cycle times, reduce material waste, and extend cutting tool lifespans.
