JD Category Head, Mobile Phones

Source Group is hiring a Category Head for Mobile phones.

# This is a 0-to-1 build. There is no existing playbook to follow; you will write it.

Key responsibilities

1. Launch the category. Define GTM, product range, pricing and
channel mix, starting with mobile phones.

2. Build distribution on the ground :: Launch GT(General Trade) to start with & followed by E-commerce & modern trade, as per priority and comfort). You decide & start where the business is strongest and expand from there.

3. Sort the Supply :: Figure out the supply channels, region & brand wise.

4. Own the sales target. Plan, forecast and deliver monthly, quarterly and annual revenue.

5. Build and lead the team. Hire, train and manage the sales and distribution team as the category scales.

6. Cross functional Leadership : Work with product, supply chain, marketing and finance to launch and scale the category.

Must-haves :

1. A working experience of working 5+ years in mobile phone industry.

2. Hands-on for any one of the sales channel GT, MT & E-comm.
3.Open to travel. Comfortable with travel across markets(whenever required).

Good to Have :

Entrepreneurial background. A founder, ex-founder or CXO, or a strong individual contributor who has built something from scratch.
