Category Manager

Role & responsibilities

• Develop and execute category strategies to maximize revenue, profitability, and market share.
• Manage the complete product lifecycle, including new product launches and product rationalization.
• Identify, evaluate, negotiate, and manage strategic vendor partnerships.
• Develop competitive pricing strategies while ensuring healthy margins.
• Analyze sales trends, customer insights, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
• Plan inventory, demand forecasting, and replenishment in coordination with Supply Chain teams.
• Collaborate with Marketing for promotional campaigns and product launches.
• Work closely with Retail Operations and Visual Merchandising teams to improve customer experience.
• Track KPIs including Sales, Margin, Inventory Turnover, Sell-through Rate, and GMROI.
• Present category performance reports and strategic recommendations to senior management.
