Category Manager IT

Key Responsibilities:

• Category Management: Develop and execute strategies to drive sales and profitability for Mobiles & Laptops.
• Sales Target Achievement: Set category targets, monitor performance, analyze gaps, and implement corrective actions.
• Brand Management: Manage brand relationships, negotiate commercial terms, and drive brand-wise sales performance.
• Product & SKU Management: Ensure optimal product assortment, pricing, availability, placement, and visibility.
• Business Development: Identify new opportunities and strategies to increase category growth across stores.
• Promoter Management: Monitor promoter productivity and coordinate training and performance improvement initiatives.
• Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, ageing inventory, replenishment, and EOL product liquidation.
• MIS & Analytics: Track sales, margins, market trends, and category performance through regular reports and dashboards.

Key Skills Required:

• Proven experience in Category Management / Sales, preferably in Mobiles & Laptops or consumer electronics.
• Strong understanding of LFR and Regional Retail formats.
• Good knowledge of Mobiles, Laptops and IT products.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and commercial skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management abilities.
• Ability to drive sales, profitability, and category growth.
