Category Manager FMCG

Role Details

We are looking for a Category Manager FMCG to own and grow key FMCG categories, drive category performance, and build strong partnerships with brands and suppliers.

Location - Bangalore (Corporate Office) | Onsite required.

What would you be doing?

Key Responsibilities:

• Own category P&L, sales, margins, assortment, and overall category growth.
• Develop category strategies based on customer insights, market trends, and competition.
• Manage vendor/brand relationships, negotiations, pricing, and trade terms.
• Drive assortment, promotions, visibility, and inventory to improve category performance.
• Work closely with Marketing, Supply Chain, Pricing, and Operations teams to deliver business goals.
• Identify opportunities to improve customer experience, selection, and profitability.

What Were Looking For:

• 3 - 10 years of experience in Category Management, Buying, Merchandising, or FMCG.
• Strong understanding of FMCG categories, consumer behavior, pricing, and margins.
• Excellent negotiation, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.
