Category Manager (Beauty Category)

We are looking for professionals to work directly with the founders and core team as part of Wingits 0-to-1 journey.

What we’re building:

• We’re building India’s first beauty commerce concierge, bringing Sephora’s shopping experience to your home. We’ll be the first lifestyle commerce platform for the top 1% (similar to Firstclub for F&B, CRED for fintech).

• Founders: CEO (Jaipur, EE IITK ‘21, BCG, Warburg), CTO (Jaipur, EE IITB ‘21, NVIDIA, Even)
• We’re raising ~$7m seed funding led by two of India’s largest VC firms along with a solid set of angels (Kunal Shah, Kunal Bahl, Tanmay Bhat, Founders of Firstclub, Scapia, Man Matters, GIVA, etc.). This is one of the largest seed rounds in the beauty category in a while.

Mission & Problem Statement:

• Our mission is to reimagine how people shop - quick commerce made shopping quick; but we will make shopping at home an experiential delight. The goal is to build a category-defining company.
• Problem we’re solving: Today’s platforms are archaic, don’t accept returns, and aren’t personalized because they were built when India bought only value products. Someone buying a 1,000 lipstick should get a better buying experience than someone buying a 200 soap.
• Our solution: We’re building a platform for the top 1% where quick, advisor-led try-and-buy at home, and personalization are different limbs of the platform (building Sephora for India)

Job Description:

You will work closely with the founders and take ownership of real business problems across product, growth, operations, category, marketing and customer experience. The role will involve research, problem-solving, execution and working on 0-to-1 initiatives.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Upto 6 years of experience in the relevant field
• Strong problem-solving, communication and execution skills
• High ownership and willingness to work in a fast-paced startup environment
• Willingness to work 6 days a week from our Gurugram office

Stipend:

Competitive compensation, based on the role and candidate profile.

Nature of Work:

Full-time, work from office in Gurugram, 6 days a week.

Expected Date of Commencement:

Immediate / mutually agreed joining date based on the candidate’s availability.
