GIGABOX is a 60-minute delivery-led omnichannel retail platform for general merchandise, seamlessly bridging online and offline shopping to deliver a unified App Bhi, Store Bhi customer experience. We operate category-dedicated branded stores—spanning Kitchen, Sports, Toys, Bags, Gift, Electronics, Cosmetics, Home Decor, and more —that are fully integrated with our iOS and Android apps.

Our core USPs include 80-90% product assortment availability, a true touch-and-feel in-store experience, and fast local delivery within 60 minutes. Within 6 months of launch, we achieved over 5+ crores in cumulative revenue, attaining both store-level and company-level profitability. We currently operate two large-format stores in Jodhpur, Rajasthan: The GIGABOX Kitchen Store (4500+ sq. ft.) and GIGABOX Sports Store (4000+ sq. ft.), both launched-on 10th Nov 2025. We are actively expanding with two additional Jodhpur stores for Toys and Bags, scheduled to launch on 14th September 2026. Backed by ₹7 crores raised across two funding rounds in our first year, our current ARR is ₹12 crore and is projected to reach ₹25 crore post-expansion. Our overarching vision is to build India's No. 1 general merchandise platform across the top 50 cities by launching 600 stores over the next 5-8 years.

Category: Women's Bags / Ladies bags

Location: Sardarpura, Jodhpur, Rajasthan

Experience: 7–10 Years

Working Hours: 11:00 AM – 10:00 PM PM

Working Days: Monday to Sunday

Paid Leaves: 2 paid leaves per Month

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Purchase Manager with strong and relevant experience in the Women's Bags / Ladies Handbags category.

The ideal candidate should have 7– 10 years of experience in purchasing, buying and sourcing, preferably with multiple brands or multiple categories within Women's Bags.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the complete purchase and sourcing function for Women's Bags / Ladies Handbags.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors, suppliers and manufacturers.
• Identify and source new, trending and commercially viable Ladies bags products.
• Manage multiple categories such as handbags, sling bags, shoulder bags, tote bags, Crossbody Bags, Clutches and Backpacks.
• Negotiate prices, MOQ, quality, payment terms and delivery timelines with vendors.
• Identify new vendors and continuously expand the supplier network.
• Plan purchases based on sales, stock levels, customer demand and market trends.
• Analyse fast-moving and slow-moving products and take appropriate purchase decisions.
• Conduct regular market and competitor analysis to understand trends, designs and pricing.
• Finalize products and vendors based on quality, price, margin and market demand.
• Coordinate with vendors for samples, product development and bulk orders.
• Monitor vendor performance and ensure quality and timely delivery.
• Coordinate with Store, Warehouse, Sales and Management teams for smooth product availability.
• Maintain proper records of vendors, purchase orders, pricing and product information.
• Explore new brands, suppliers and sourcing opportunities to grow the Women's Bags category.

Candidate Requirements:

• 3–4 years of relevant experience as a Purchase Manager / Buyer/ Sourcing Manager.
• Mandatory: Relevant experience in Women's Bags / Ladies Handbags/ Fashion Accessories.
• Experience of working with multiple brands or multiple categories in Women's Bags will be highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Women's Bag designs, materials, quality, pricing and market trends.
• Strong vendor management and negotiation skills.
• Good understanding of purchase planning, inventory and product movement.
• Strong communication and decision-making skills.
• basic knowledge of google sheets and MS Excel.
• Candidates from fashion retail, lifestyle, handbags, bags or accessories industries will be preferred.
