Role & responsibilities

Responsible for managing and maintaining Apache Cassandra databases and clusters, including:

• Cassandra installation, configuration, and upgrades
• Database monitoring and performance tuning
• Backup, recovery, and disaster recovery
• Cluster scaling, node management, and repairs
• Troubleshooting database and production issues
• Managing replication, consistency, and data availability
• Security and access management
• Linux, CQL, and scripting
• Working with development and infrastructure teams to ensure database reliability and high availability
