Job Description

We are looking for an Associate – Reconciliation with strong experience in Cash & Securities/Position Reconciliation and hands-on experience with Intellimatch.

The role involves managing daily reconciliation activities, investigating and resolving breaks, maintaining reconciliation controls, supporting process improvements, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly cash and securities/position reconciliations.
• Identify and investigate cash breaks, position differences, missing balances and proof differences.
• Resolve reconciliation breaks within agreed timelines and escalate aged/unresolved items appropriately.
• Work hands-on with Intellimatch for reconciliation, matching and break management.
• Create and maintain matching rules, lookup references and static data in Intellimatch.
• Monitor and improve auto-matching rates and identify opportunities for process automation.
• Handle rejects, file formatting and manual file imports as required.
• Work with business teams, custodians, correspondent banks and other stakeholders to resolve reconciliation exceptions.
• Understand and analyse relevant SWIFT messages such as MT940, MT950, MT535 and MT536.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of experience in Reconciliation / Investment Banking / Capital Markets Operations.
• Hands-on experience in Cash Reconciliation and Securities/Position Reconciliation.
• Mandatory: Hands-on experience with Intellimatch.
• Strong understanding of reconciliation breaks, investigation and resolution.
• Knowledge of Trade Processing, Settlement, Custody and/or Corporate Actions.
• Knowledge of SWIFT MT940/950 and MT535/536 is preferred.
• Experience with Intellimatch matching rules, lookup tables and static data is highly desirable.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree required. Master’s degree in Commerce / MBA Finance preferred.
