• Associate Consultant Cardiac Anaesthesiology
• Consultant – Cardiac Anaesthesiology

Qualification

Candidates with any of the following qualifications may apply:

• MD / DNB – Anaesthesiology with relevant Cardiac Anaesthesia experience
• DM – Cardiac Anaesthesia
• DrNB – Cardiac Anaesthesia
• FIACTA with relevant experience in Cardiac Anaesthesia

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive anaesthesia care for adult cardiac and cardiothoracic surgical procedures.
• Pre-operative assessment and optimization of cardiac surgical patients.
• Administer and manage anaesthesia for complex cardiac surgeries.
• Intra-operative hemodynamic monitoring and management.
• Expertise in advanced cardiac anaesthesia techniques and monitoring.
• Management of patients requiring advanced cardiac critical care.
• Post-operative management and coordination with the Cardiac ICU and CTVS teams.
• Management of emergency and high-risk cardiac cases.
• Work closely with Cardiologists, Cardiac Surgeons, Intensivists and multidisciplinary teams.
• Ensure compliance with clinical protocols, patient-safety standards and quality practices.
• Participate in academic activities, audits, clinical meetings and departmental initiatives.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate should have:

• Strong clinical expertise in Cardiac Anaesthesiology.
• Experience in cardiac OT and cardiac critical care.
• Good knowledge of advanced monitoring and peri-operative cardiac management.
• Excellent clinical judgment and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication and multidisciplinary teamwork abilities.
