About the Role

STAQX, a vibrant American diner and bar concept, is looking for enthusiastic, service-oriented individuals to join its Front of House team. We welcome experienced candidates for Captain positions and freshers who are eager to begin their careers in hospitality for Steward positions.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly, assist them with seating and ensure a pleasant dining experience.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and coordinate with the kitchen and bar teams for timely service.
• Explain menu items, recommend dishes and beverages, and assist guests with their queries.
• Maintain service standards, table setup, cleanliness, hygiene and professional grooming.
• Handle guest requests and feedback politely, escalating concerns when required.
• Support smooth floor operations, including table management, order coordination and team communication.
• Assist with billing coordination and follow restaurant service procedures.
• Work collaboratively with the Front of House, kitchen and beverage teams to ensure efficient operations.

Candidate Requirements

• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with basic to moderate English proficiency.
• Presentable appearance, good grooming standards and a positive attitude.
• A guest-focused approach, willingness to learn and ability to work in a team.
• Good knowledge of coffee, beverages or food service is an added advantage.
• Previous experience in a Continental, Western or American-style restaurant is preferred but not mandatory.
• Experienced candidates may apply for Captain positions; freshers and entry-level candidates are welcome to apply for Steward positions.
• Flexibility to work rotational shifts, weekends and holidays as per restaurant requirements.
