What would you do
Responsible for supervising/managing and handling day-to-day Back Office processing of Operations of the Bank.Manage Operational Risk and Audits to ensure Operations are closely alignedReport/escalate errors and incidents, ensure they are captured in the relevant operational risk tool and provide controls to avoid in the future.Ensure pre-matching is performed and prompt follow up of unmatched trades. Ensure Inventory is managed to facilitate onward deliveries through depot transfers Identification of Firm shorts and highlighting to business Monitor and release the necessary payments for deals transacted and due for settlement by respective cut-off times.Prompt follow up on any incident claims till resolution

What are we looking for
Minimum 8 - 10 years of experience in Back Office operations processing, Lending / Borrowing, Repo activities and good knowledge of other asset classes.Meticulous, discipline and possess good working attitude.Able to handle work pressures and adhere to deadlines.Team management experience with excellent communication skills.Good knowledge of MS Office applicationsQUALIFICATIONS:Graduate/post graduate in FinancePreferred Qualification:MBA Finance from reputed B-school Experience in Investment bankingMandatory Primary skill :Trade Settlements, Pre-matching, Analytical thinking, Regulatory awareness, Operational efficiency, Risk ManagementRELEVANT TOTAL YEARS OF EXPERIENCE:In depth knowledge of the product (Equity /Fixed Income settlements) and various market rules 6-7 years of industry experience and 1-2 years of supervisory experience BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCY REQUIRED:Leadership talentPerformance Management/ Tracking.Goals Objective Setting.Results OrientedClient FocusPeople DevelopmentCooperationAnalytical SkillsCapacity to handle new situationsWork under pressure Manage multicultural environmentCapacity to handle new situationsWork under pressure Manage multicultural environment


Roles and Responsibilities: Close relationship with European team and locational teams, supervising the team on following duties:1.Ensure all trades have been validated instructed within the cut-off2.Follow report any unmatched instructions or failed trades and liaise with the relevant parties.3.Monitor forecast cash balance and escalate to funding on any deficit cash4.Ensure Inventory is managed to facilitate onward deliveries through depot transfers 5.Escalate to business on any firm shorts6.Manage Buy-in tickets (Issuance and receivables) 7.Follow up and revert to reconciliation on all cash stocks discrepancies raised by reconciliation teams8.Respond promptly to FO, MO, external counterparties requests9.Continuous Improve BO processes10.Assist and test the release of new information systems11.Ensure daily monitoring of collateral exposure to ensure deliveries are not stuck with agent on short of collateral12.Ensure daily risk is fully covered and validate if all unmatched are escalated as per procedures to relevant stakeholders13.Ensure Inventory is well managed along with longbox movement to facilities collateralization 14.Review checklist is validated for completeness on all critical items and signed off 15.Staff management and motivation, attrition management.
