Capital Market Consultant

Role & responsibilities

• Design, configure, and test surveillance rules
• Monitor and validate trade surveillance alerts
• Support UAT, onboarding, and implementation activities
• Conduct regulatory and surveillance gap analysis.
• Collaborate with product and technology team
• Review and improve alert/case management workflows
• Support regulatory reporting module configuration
• Prepare compliance documentation and training materials
• Support regulatory research on capital market surveillance requirements across the UK, Southeast Asia, Nepal, and the Philippines.

Preferred candidate profile

• 5+ years in Capital Markets Compliance / Trade Surveillance
• Knowledge of SEBI, NSE, BSE, NSDL & CDSL regulations
• Experience with NICE Actimize, Nasdaq Surveillance, b-next, or similar tools
• Expertise in Front Running, Spoofing, Layering, Wash Trades & Insider Trading detection
• Hands-on experience with UDIFF files, data mapping, and data validation
• Knowledge of alert management, investigations, and case workflows.
• Experience in STR, CTR, and regulatory reporting
• Advanced Excel skills
• CA/CS qualification preferred
• AML compliance or international market exposure preferred
