Job Description

We are hiring a skilled and creative Candid Wedding Photographer / Cinematographer cum Editor for a reputed wedding photography company in Bengaluru.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in candid wedding photography, cinematic videography, couple portraits and professional photo and video editing. Candidates must have a strong understanding of wedding traditions, rituals, camera operations, framing and cinematic storytelling.

This is a full-time, work-from-office role based in Bikasipura, Bengaluru.

Candidates must be comfortable travelling to wedding venues, working extended hours during events and meeting project delivery deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

• Capture candid and traditional wedding photographs, cinematic videos and special moments.
• Photograph bride and groom portraits, wedding rituals, ceremonies and family functions.
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of camera settings, framing, composition, lighting and exposure.
• Shoot high-quality cinematic footage and capture spontaneous moments effectively.
• Edit and retouch wedding photographs using Adobe Lightroom and Adobe Photoshop.
• Edit wedding films, teasers, highlights, trailers and social media Reels.
• Perform professional colour correction, retouching and cinematic colour grading.
• Organize project files and maintain proper backups of photographs and video footage.
• Coordinate effectively with second shooters, editors and the wedding team.
• Handle clients, families and wedding guests professionally.
• Work under pressure, adapt to changing situations and deliver projects within agreed timelines.

Required Skills

• 25 years of relevant experience in wedding photography and cinematography.
• Strong expertise in candid photography, couple portraits and wedding shoots.
• Good knowledge of professional DSLR or mirrorless cameras, lenses, framing and lighting.
• Proficiency in Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve.
• Knowledge of cinematic storytelling, video editing and colour grading.
• Thorough understanding of wedding rituals, event flow and the wedding industry.
• Ability to work long wedding days and travel to venues as required.
• Strong teamwork, communication, time management and problem-solving skills.
• A portfolio showcasing complete wedding projects, including photographs and cinematic videos.

Candidate Requirements

• Must be willing to work from the office in Bikasipura, Bengaluru.
