About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Canadian Tax Professional to manage tax preparation, compliance, and advisory support for Canadian clients. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Canadian taxation (Corporate / Personal) and be comfortable working with multiple clients in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review Corporate Tax Returns (T2)
• Prepare Personal Tax Returns (T1)
• Assist in preparation of GST/HST returns
• Handle tax computations, working papers, and supporting schedules
• Ensure compliance with CRA (Canada Revenue Agency) regulations
• Coordinate with clients for documentation and tax-related queries
• Support tax planning and advisory activities
• Assist during tax audits and respond to CRA notices
• Maintain updated knowledge of Canadian tax laws and amendments
• Review work prepared by Analysts, providing feedback and ensuring accuracy and quality before manager or partner review.
• Act as a day-to-day point of contact on assigned client files, liaising with clients and internal engagement leads.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance
• 3–5+ years of experience in Canadian Taxation
• Strong understanding of Canadian tax laws and compliance

Tax software tools/ Experience:

• CaseWare
• TaxPrep
• Profile
• QuickBooks (for bookkeeping review)
• Good knowledge of GST/HST and payroll tax concept
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple client accounts
