Manufacturing engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes.
• Conduct time studies and implement lean manufacturing techniques.
• Specify and design tools, jigs, and fixtures for production.
• Ensure tools and equipment meet precision and tolerance requirements.
• Ensure compliance with aerospace industry standards (e.g., AS9100, FAA).
• Implement corrective actions for non-conformance issues.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during manufacturing.
• Monitor and improve manufacturing efficiency and output.
• Collaborate with vendors to procure specialized equipment.
• Develop processes and tooling for new products.
• Identify and implement process improvements for cost reduction and efficiency.
• Create and maintain manufacturing process documentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in machined manufacturing or a related field.
• Powermill CNC machine programming
• Proficiency in understanding complex manufacturing processes.
• Deep understanding of aerospace standard (AS9100, NADCAP requirements).
• Knowledge of ITAR compliance and export control regulations.
• Expertise in material properties.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for production decisions.
• Strong ability to understand GDT requirements.
