CAE-NVH

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Job Description: (Describe work requirement/Project deliverables)

  Be a part of highly motivated team working on CAE based vehicle NVH refinement

  Decide and perform the CAE analyses for vehicle, subsystems and components

  • FE model assembly (Subsystems and cavity leading to vehicle)
  • Static stiffness, Modal analysis, Dynamic stiffness, Structural FRF, Structure-Fluid interaction, Acoustic FRF, Panel-Element contribution, Optimization)

  Evaluate design proposals, determine the performance gaps, risks and work towards meeting the requirements

  Weight and performance optimization with help of analytical tools

  Report writing and technical documentation

  Interaction with other stakeholders working on the project (design & other CAE groups)

  Work closely with testing department for CAE-Test correlation

  Able to lead project

   

  Experience:

  4-8 years of hands on model building + analysis experience at OEM or a subsidiary

  Knowledge of vehicle subsystems and full vehicle

  Understanding of product development process

  Analytical ability and shall be good in engineering theory and principles of design

  Proficiency in Altair Hypermesh, MSC NASTRAN and/or LMS Virtual Lab

  Proficiency in MS Office

  Exposure to PLM is preferred
