CAE Analyst

Job Title: CAE Engineer/M-TechJob Description

This position involves executing Thermal Analysis at a full vehicle level, identifying issues, and providing countermeasures for Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD).

Responsibilities

• Conduct thermal analysis for full vehicle systems and report findings.
• Build models using ANSA and set up boundary conditions using UH3D & TAITHERM.
• Correlate CFD results with physical test data and handle FAN modeling.
• Perform frontend opening and heat rejection calculations.
• Debug simulations in RADTHERM/StarCCM+ and resolve coupling issues.
• Post-process results using ENSIGHT and prepare detailed reports.
• Study internal flow simulations using StarCCM+.
• Interpret heat exchanger data sheets and apply necessary corrective actions.
• Identify potential thermal issues and recommend heat shield placements.
• Independently manage and deliver projects while maintaining clear communication with customers.
  
  

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in ANSA, RADTHERM/TAITHERM, Star CCM+, ENSIGHT, and Team Center.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in heat transfer, fluid dynamics, and full vehicle analysis.
• Thorough knowledge of automobile systems and their functions.
• Ability to correlate CFD results with physical test data.
  
  

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (BE/B-Tech/ME/M-Tech).
• Strong technical knowledge in fluid dynamics and heat transfer.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Flexibility to work in shifts.
• Team-oriented mindset and capability to work independently.

The role requires flexibility in working shifts and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Candidates should be prepared to work with advanced simulation tools and software to perform detailed thermal and fluid dynamic analyses.
