Role Summary:
Responsible for installing, configuring, packaging, deploying, integrating, troubleshooting, and debugging CAD applications on client machines. Supports development and testing of StackPilot for automating CAD software deployment and configuration.
What Youll Do:
- Install, configure, troubleshoot, and validate CAD applications on Windows client machines
- Create and maintain end-user deployment packages for CATIA, NX, and Creo
- Support development, testing, and validation of automated CAD deployment packages
- Investigate and resolve issues related to installation, configuration, permissions, registry, environment variables, licensing, dependencies, network/connectivity, user profiles, and CAD/PLM integration
- Troubleshoot CAD/Teamcenter integration and client-side configuration issues
- Work with developers to reproduce and resolve deployment defects and bugs
- Convert manual CAD installation/configuration steps into reliable, repeatable deployment and automation processes
- Create technical documentation and installation/configuration procedures
What We re Looking For (Must-Haves):
- Strong hands-on knowledge of Siemens NX, CATIA, PTC Creo, and Teamcenter
- Experience with Teamcenter client-side integrations (TCIC, Teamcenter integration with CATIA/NX/Creo/SAP)
- Ability to analyze installation/application logs and identify root causes
- Good knowledge of CATIA/NX tools and macros, and ability to troubleshoot existing macros/scripts
- Understanding of CAD application dependencies, licensing, configuration files, environment variables, registry settings, and client-side configuration
- Ability to quickly resolve issues on end-user/client machines
Good to Have (Optional - only if mentioned):
- Experience with PowerShell / Batch / CMD scripting
- Windows administration
- Software packaging and deployment
- MSI/EXE installers and silent installation
- Windows Services
- Registry configuration and environment variables
- Basic networking and enterprise application troubleshooting
