CAD Operator

Primary Responsibilities:

. Drafting & Design:

• Create detailed and accurate 2D and 3D drawings for civil engineering projects, including site plans, elevations, sections, and construction details.
• Utilize AutoCAD software to develop drawings based on sketches, calculations, and specifications provided by engineers.
• Create Revit Model for Substructure and Check Clash and Take off Qty.
• Ensure drawings comply with relevant design standards, codes, and project requirements.
• Incorporate revisions and modifications as directed by engineers or project managers.
• Detail Shop Drawing Experience (Concrete Body Plan,BBS, Finishing Drawing (Door/Window/Louver/Shutter/Floor/ceiling/Wall).
• Make Coordination Drawing & Do Necessary Coordination for External, Wall , RCP(Roof Ceiling Plan)-ASME

2. Technical Support:

• Provide technical support to engineers and project managers in interpreting and understanding technical drawings.
• Assist in preparing presentation materials and reports for clients and stakeholders.
• Maintain organized and up-to-date project files and drawings.

3. Collaboration & Communication:

• Coordination with designer. (Transmittal,Approval)
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and other team members to ensure accurate and complete project documentation.
• Communicate effectively to clarify project requirements and address any concerns or issues.
• Participate in project meetings and discussions to provide input and updates on drawing progress.

Additional Duties

Conduct site visits to gather measurements and information for drawings.

Research and incorporate relevant design standards and regulations into drawings.

Assist in preparing quantity takeoffs and cost estimates for projects.

Stay updated on latest AutoCAD software features and industry best practices.

Qualifications, Experience, Skills, Abilities & Training

Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering or ITI Autocad or Drafting Technology.

Proven experience (5+ years) as a Civil AutoCAD Operator in Industrial construction

Proficiency in AutoCAD software and related drafting tools.

Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and practices.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and survey data.

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.
