Cad Engineer

1. Packaging electrical components within the vehicle layout.

2. Reviewing the vehicle layout to ensure appropriate placement of electrical components.

3. Importing ECAD data into MCAD for wiring harness routing purposes.

4. Developing concept designs for both plastic and metal parts required for packaging the electrical components.

5. Defining the assembly process and providing ongoing support to the assembly team for its implementation.

6. Utilizing CATIA V5 R21 and its relevant modules, including Part Design, Assembly Design, Electrical Parts Packaging, and Drafting, for these tasks.

7. Generating necessary drawings for components, wiring, and overall architecture, and subsequently uploading them to the PLM system.

8. Conducting tolerance stack-up analyses at the vehicle assembly level.

9. Ensure CAD based layout on actual vehicle build/Proto

10. Change detail observation and updating CAD Layout

11. Proto Vehicle management w.r.t. all EE Proto parts and updating on vehicle in case new parts.

Basic electrical functionality checks using user manuals, electrical instrument etc.
