CAD Engineer - Piston Design (Creo)

Job Description

Role & Responsibilities

• Design and develop piston, piston ring, cylinder, and engine components using PTC Creo.
• Create and maintain 3D models, 2D drawings, BOMs, and engineering documentation.
• Perform GD&T implementation, tolerance stack-up analysis, and design reviews.
• Coordinate with CAE, manufacturing, testing, and quality teams.
• Support product development, engineering changes, and manufacturing feasibility activities.
• Participate in DFMEA, APQP, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with automotive standards and customer requirements.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Automobile, or Automotive Engineering.
• 3-8 years of experience in automotive engine or powertrain component design.
• Strong hands-on experience in PTC Creo.
• Knowledge of piston, cylinder, engine components, GD&T, DFMEA, and APQP.
• Experience with Windchill/PLM tools preferred.
