CAD ENGINEER AUTODESK INVENTOR

Roles & Responsibilities

• Create and modify 3D mechanical models and assemblies using Autodesk Inventor.
• Prepare detailed 2D manufacturing and engineering drawings.
• Apply GD&T, dimensions, fits and tolerances.
• Prepare and maintain BOMs and engineering documentation.
• Modify designs based on engineering and manufacturing requirements.
• Work with engineering teams to resolve design and drawing issues.
• Follow engineering standards, drawing procedures and quality requirements.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in Autodesk Inventor.
• Good knowledge of 3D modelling, assemblies and 2D drawings.
• Good understanding of GD&T and mechanical design fundamentals.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as CNC machining/fabrication is an advantage.
• AutoCAD/PDM/PLM knowledge is an added advantage.

Preferred Background

Experience in industrial machinery, power, aerospace, automotive, Oil & Gas or similar engineering industries will be an advantage.
