Cad Designer

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Jewelry CAD Designer with strong experience in JewelCAD 5.1 to create accurate, creative, and production-ready 3D jewelry designs. The role involves translating concepts, sketches, or customer requirements into CAD models suitable for manufacturing and casting.

Key Responsibilities

• Create 3D jewelry designs using JewelCAD 5.1
  
• Design rings, pendants, earrings, bangles, bracelets, and custom jewelry
  
• Develop precise stone settings (prong, bezel, pav, channel, etc.)
  
• Prepare CAD files for 3D printing, wax printing, and casting
  
• Modify designs based on client or production feedback
  
• Ensure correct stone sizes, metal thickness, and tolerances
  
• Check models for manufacturability and structural strength
  
• Coordinate with production, casting, and setting teams
  
• Manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proficiency in JewelCAD 5.1
  
• Good understanding of jewelry construction and manufacturing processes
  
• Knowledge of gemstones and diamond settings
  
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  
• Ability to work from sketches, references, or verbal instructions
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Diploma or certification in Jewelry CAD / Jewelry Design
  
• 3-5 years of experience as a Jewelry CAD Designer
  
• Basic knowledge of rendering and visualization
  
• Experience with 3D printing or casting workflows
  

Software Skills

• JewelCAD 5.1 (mandatory)
  
• Basic knowledge of other CAD tools is an advantage
