Job Description CAD Mechanical Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop OEM mechanical components using metals, plastics, rubber,coatings, etc.
• Create 3D models and 2D drawings using Siemens NX Casting, Machining, Sheet Metal & Assembly.
• Apply GD&T, weld symbols, ISO/ASTM standards, DFM and DFA principles.
• Prepare mechanical BOMs, layouts, drawings, technical reports and presentations.
• Support Procurement, Production, Quality, Sales and suppliers on technical queries.
• Manage ECN, PLM, SAP and engineering documentation.
• Support product improvement, material/process selection and cost reduction.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering with related field with 2-3 years of experience.
• Strong Product Development and Design experience in Mechanical domain
• Knowledge of machining, welding, molding, sheet-metal fabrication & casting processes
• Excellent communication, both written and verbal, and technical presentation skills
• Knowledge in Engineering Change Management Process, SAP, PLM
• Knowledge of Fittings, bearings, valves, O-rings, and OEM component selection
• Ability to work effectively with:

Cross-functional teams (Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, Systems, Service) and technical leaders
