CAD Design Engineer (QA)

Job Summary

• Collaborate with Product Owner/Manager and scrum teams to create CAD sketches, designs, and drawings using Fusion and other CAD software.
• Work with QA to enhance automation coverage of AI/ML features in Fusion.
• Develop Fusion plugins or scripts as needed.
• Engage actively in resolving customer-reported issues.
• Take ownership of tasks and provide proactive progress updates.
• Test workflows and user experience within Fusion workspaces.

Requirements

Must-haves:

• Bachelor s degree in Engineering.
• 5-8 years experience as CAD design or QA engineer.
• Proficient in 2D/3D modeling, assembly, and drawing.
• Familiarity with Fusion, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor.
• Knowledge of drawing standards, GDT, and manufacturing processes.
• Expertise in creating CAD software plugins.
• Strong English communication skills.
• Understanding of software QA methodologies and Agile Scrum.

Nice-to-have:

• Experience with cloud-based CAD, QA automation tools, Python and JavaScript for test automation.
• Proficiency in Jira, Confluence, Jenkins, GitHub, Looker.
• Passion for emerging technologies and project management experience.
