About this role
About Us
We are a furniture manufacturing company exporting to the USA. We have a 5 axis CNC and use TopSolid integrated CAD-CAM
Role & responsibilities
1. Draft furniture in 3D CAD
2. Make labelled drafts with instructions for carpenters
3. Design jigs, fences, tools as required by each workstation
4. Nest flat parts in sheets
5. Define work co-ordinate system and set the same on the machine
6. Make a program in 3D CAM with toolpaths
7. Simulate the programs using the machine post processor
8. Operate the machine to run the program
9. Make jigs, fences, tools and part quantities as per production plan
10. Check quality lists for each workstation and record & rework discrepancies
Preferred candidate profile
At least 2 years experience programming and operating a CNC machine, INDO GERMAN TOOL ROOM (IGTR) certification in Advance Course in CNC Machining (ACCM)
There will be 6 months probation out of which 3 months will be software and machine training.
