CA Trainee

Financial Accounting & Reporting

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Ensure accurate booking of revenues, expenses, accruals, and provisions.
• Perform month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Support statutory audit, internal audit, and tax audit requirements.
• Maintain General Ledger and ensure reconciliation of balance sheet accounts.

Project Finance & Revenue Management

• Monitor project-wise profitability and margins.
• Review project budgets versus actual costs.
• Ensure accurate revenue recognition as per contractual milestones and accounting standards.
• Track unbilled revenue, deferred revenue, and WIP balances.
• Coordinate with project managers and delivery teams for financial reviews.

Budgeting & MIS Reporting

• Assist in annual budgeting and periodic forecasting.
• Prepare business unit-wise MIS reports.
• Analyze revenue, gross margin, utilization, and cost variances.
• Present financial insights and recommendations to management.

Business Partnering

• Evaluate commercial proposals and customer contracts.
• Support pricing, profitability analysis, and business case preparation.
• Provide financial guidance to stakeholders for decision-making.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of Accounting Standards and Financial Reporting.
• Hands-on experience in budgeting, forecasting, and MIS reporting.
• Knowledge of revenue recognition and project accounting.
• Understanding of GST, TDS, and corporate taxation.
• Proficiency in SAP (FI/CO), Oracle, or similar ERP systems.
• Advanced MS Excel skills (Pivot Tables, Power Query, Financial Modeling).
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
