CA Industrial Trainee Taxation

Location: Kurla, Mumbai

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in GST compliance activities, including preparation and filing of GST returns for various group entities.
• Support GST reconciliations and review of transaction-level data to identify discrepancies and potential compliance gaps.
• Assist in GST audits and assessments, including data collation, documentation, and coordination with internal teams.
• Support the team in GST advisory on business transactions, including research on taxability, applicability, and related provisions.
• Assist in monitoring input tax credit (ITC), including reconciliation and identification of exceptions or mismatches.
• Support in tracking and responding to GST notices, queries, and departmental communications, as required.
• Assist in tracking GST refunds and coordinating with relevant teams for timely follow-up.
• Support research on GST law, circulars, notifications, rulings, and regulatory updates, and summarize key developments relevant to the business.

Requirements:

• Pursuing CA Final and eligible for Industrial Training as per ICAI guidelines.
• Strong academic background and basic understanding of Indirect Tax laws.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and basic tax software is preferred.
