CA Fresher - 1st Attempt

Kotak Mahindra Bank - Institutional Banking

We are looking to hire Qualified Chartered Accountants (Freshers / up to 1 year of experience) for our Commercial Real Estate (CRE) business in Mumbai across the following domains:

1. Relationship Management - CRE

• Support acquisition and management of leading real estate developers and institutional clients.
• Conduct financial analysis, credit assessment, industry research, and transaction evaluation.
• Prepare financial models, credit proposals, business presentations, and transaction documentation.
• Coordinate with Credit, Risk, Legal, Technical and Operations teams for transaction execution.
• Monitor client portfolios and support business growth initiatives.

2. Credit Analyst - CRE

• Evaluate real estate financing opportunities across residential, commercial and mixed-use projects.
• Conduct detailed credit underwriting, project feasibility assessment and developer evaluation.
• Build project cash flow models, sensitivity analysis and Credit Appraisal Notes (CRANs).
• Assess transaction structures, security packages, repayment mechanisms and key credit risks.
• Monitor portfolio performance and track market developments within the real estate sector.

Candidate Profile

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA).
• Fresher or up to 1 year of relevant experience.
• Strong understanding of:
• Financial Statement Analysis
• Corporate Finance
• Credit Appraisal & Underwriting
• Financial Modelling
• Project Finance Concepts
• Keen interest in Corporate Banking, Lending and Real Estate Finance.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
