About the Role

We are looking for an experienced C# / .NET Developer with strong experience in FinTech, banking, traditional financial markets, or other regulated industries. The ideal candidate should have a solid engineering foundation, an understanding of compliance-driven environments, and the ability to build secure, scalable, and reliable financial technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using C#, .NET / .NET Core.
• Work on complex financial technology platforms and enterprise-grade applications.
• Translate business and regulatory requirements into robust technical solutions.
• Contribute to system architecture, engineering design, and technical decision-making.
• Develop secure APIs, backend services, integrations, and data-driven applications.
• Work closely with product, engineering, compliance, and business teams.
• Ensure applications follow appropriate security, compliance, audit, and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, troubleshooting, and performance optimisation.
• Explore and integrate AI capabilities into products and engineering workflows where relevant.

Required Skills & Experience

• 3+ years of professional experience in C# and .NET development.
• Strong hands-on experience with .NET Core / ASP.NET Core, C#, REST APIs, and backend development.
• Prior experience working with FinTech, Banking, Capital Markets, Trading, Payments, or other regulated industries.
• Good understanding of financial systems and traditional financial markets is highly desirable.
• Experience working in environments with regulatory, compliance, security, and audit requirements.
• Strong understanding of software architecture and engineering design principles.
• Experience designing scalable, secure, and maintainable systems.
• Good understanding of databases, APIs, integrations, and cloud technologies.
• Exposure to AI/ML technologies and AI-assisted engineering workflows is a strong plus.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

The ideal candidate is someone who can go beyond writing code - someone who understands financial products, regulatory constraints, system architecture, security, and enterprise engineering practices, and can contribute meaningfully to building technology for highly regulated environments.
