Job Purpose

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic professional to lead the Control & Instrumentation (C&I) Department in a Dual Fuel Combined Cycle Power Plant.

Qualifications & Experience

• BE/B.Tech in Instrumentation or Electronics Engineering.
• Should possess 18+ years of experience in a Dual Fuel Combined Cycle Power Plant as a Control & Instrumentation specialist.
• Must be working as Head – C&I for a minimum of 2 years in a Dual Fuel Combined Cycle Power Plant.
• Expert knowledge of overall plant control systems and instrumentation.
• Hands-on experience with MARK V / MARK VI Gas Turbine Control Systems, DCS and PLCs.
• Good knowledge and experience in handling plant instrumentation and communication systems.

Key Responsibilities

1. Prepare the annual maintenance plan and budget for the C&I Department in consultation with other maintenance departments.
2. Prepare department targets and monitor performance through regular reviews.
3. Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual maintenance schedules, considering OEM recommendations and past experience.
4. Implement all approved maintenance schedules in coordination with the Operations and other Maintenance Departments.
5. Ensure the healthiness and availability of Control Systems, DCS, PLCs and other communication networks at all times.
6. Analyze trip incidents in coordination with the Operations team and derive appropriate conclusions.
7. Coordinate and plan maintenance activities during shutdowns with other Maintenance Department Leads.
8. Ensure compliance with all statutory and other applicable requirements related to Control & Instrumentation systems.
9. Identify required spares and consumables and coordinate with the Purchase Department until they are available at stores.
10. Mobilize the required resources to execute all maintenance schedules in coordination with the Client.
11. Maintain proper and updated instrumentation history records.

Preferred Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate should have:

• Strong experience in Dual Fuel Combined Cycle Power Plants.
• Proven leadership experience as Head – C&I.
• Strong expertise in DCS, PLC, Gas Turbine Control Systems and plant instrumentation.
• Hands-on experience with MARK V / MARK VI control systems.
• Strong maintenance planning and shutdown coordination experience.
• Good knowledge of instrumentation and communication systems.
• Strong leadership, troubleshooting and team-management capabilities.

Relocation Preference

Candidates from India who are interested in relocating to Nigeria are highly preferred.
